WITS API issues

Hi, I have been attempting to use the API to extract tariff data, however there seem to be  a few issues around inconsistent information.

Data Availability

This doesnt contain up-to-date information. There is no information covering 2020 onwards:

https://wits.worldbank.org/API/V1/wits/datasource/trn/dataavailability/country/all/year/2020

even though this is available for individual queries:     

http://wits.worldbank.org/API/V1/SDMX/V21/rest/data/DF_WITS_Tariff_TRAINS/.840.000..reported/?startperiod=2020&endperiod=2020

Also there are some cases where data seems to be available but isnt eg. this suggests that there is tariff data for partner C31:

http://wits.worldbank.org/API/V1/wits/datasource/trn/dataavailability/country/028/year/2019

but it does exist in the API: http://wits.worldbank.org/API/V1/SDMX/V21/rest/data/DF_WITS_Tariff_TRAINS/.028.C31..reported/?startperiod=2019&endperiod=2019

(nb. it does appear in the manual bulk download)

Unfortunantely these issues make it almost impossible to use the API reliably

Is there any work being done to improve the API so that it can give the same results as the bulk downloads?
