Hello,
I am one of the users of your WITS database and tools. Unfortunately, while using the module of Advanced Query, namely Trade Outcomes Indicators, I Could not find one of the indicators which should be provided there, according to the information provided in WITS help section. Therefore, I am looking for Export Specialization Index there, but there is no such thing in any of your trade indicator groups. Am I mistaken and there is this indicator? Or, can you advise me how can I calculate this indicator using some of WITS querys, tools or databases?
I will be grateful for your answer,

Kind regards,
Sam Tucker

Dear Sam,

You can find the formula for Export Specialization Index in the user manual on page 85. Here is the link:
  http://wits.worldbank.org/data/public/WITS_User_Manual.pdf

I am trying find the methodology used for calculation of Export Sophistication index (EXPY). So, if anyone knows what formula they used and did they use data in constant prices or current prices please write so that I can compare it my own data set.

Best regards,
