Witl is supposed to be as close as possible to a zero-configuration
program. That's why we were trying to use an *embedded* SMTP server
("Aspirin") to send email. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to
connect to SMTP servers at the the recipient hosts. I suspect that's
because of anti-spam mechanisms like SPF:
http://www.openspf.org/If we can't get around this problem, witl will have to connect to
external SMTP servers, and everyone running witl will have to supply
the information needed to connect their SMTP provider.
This is the time to discuss.
