Hi Satish:
Entrepreneurs need opportunity to build businesses, deliver
solutions and reach out to potential investors.
Guess the entrepreneurs will further converge and consolidate at
few economic hotspots !
i think large companies will continue to provide the facade
required for "too big to fail" mindset and "contracts", while
all the interesting and innovative work will continue to be done
by entrepreneurs leveraged on communities.
So, if you really want to focus it should be the symbiotic
relationship between entrepreneurs and the communities eg. Open
Source communities.
eg.
lets say you have a solution built on PostgreSql database.
As an entrepreneur, you are able to offer differentiated
solution because of PostgreSql source code and community.
When you face issues, you connect with the community for
knowledge, inputs and possible patches.
To help sustain the community, you support the development of
PostGreSql development, contribute patches, events etc.
Additionally, you may have a parternship with a "too big to
fail" company that has a long-term contract with giant.gov
to deliver solution, services, support etc.
What do you think ?
thanks
Saifi.
