Wow!. This is great!
Hi every one, it's like the family has been away and everyones come
home again. Hi Deb, it's great to hear you and I wish your daughter
well.

I'm glad you had a good week Katie. I hope your feeling much better
Claudia, Good to hear you too Cinthia. Thanks for your comment Paul

We've just got back from Wales and had a super time, the weather has
been very kind to us. It did actually rain on the last day, as if to
say, Have you got to go home?

My son and I took the dog on the beach at Abergeley (I think I've
spelt that right) and we made some sand angels which was great fun,
even though we did get loads of sand in our hair. The only problem
was, that as fast as we were making the angels, the wind was so
strong, it was pushing the sand hard, and our lovely angels were
being covered very quickly. Robin, our dog, was barking at us as if
to say, What on earth are you up to, I want to play ball!!.

Thank you Katie for helping me to get in touch with my inner child.
She came through loudly while on holiday. I bought the film "Bee"
which I was asked to buy, it was really good, plus it had a moral story
in it. We need nature as much as nature needs us.

For me, the high light of the holiday, was finding lost friends I
hadn't seen for forty years.

When I was nine, I went to a boarding school called Loreto convent in
Llandudno. I decided as we were in the area, I couldn't go home
without visiting the old school and possibily seeing the sisters who
used to run it. The convent is now a conference centre, but they've
changed the interior completely. It's truly beautiful. I was very
lucky to meet a lady who kindly took me round some areas of the school
as I remembered it, and filled her in some parts of the past she
didn't know about. Showing her where my dormitory and class room used
to be. It brought back so many wonderful memeories, even though I was
the most unhappiest child there due to homesickness, I say wonderful
memories, because of the friends I made there.

When the visit finished, I asked the question, were any of the nuns
still around that used to be here? You can imagine my surprise and
delight when Ann said yes, they were in the other house which use to
be the junior school area where I stayed. Ann asked me if I
remembered a sister Antonia, I replied yes. She used to used to be my
head mistress. Sister Antonia is ninety three and still going
strong.! When I met her she gave me a lovely big hug and remembered
me. I also so met a couple of other sisters who were around the same
time I was. It was like meeting my old family again, it was both
emotional and exciting. I spent half an hour with them. Then to put
the cherry on the cake so to speak. Sister Antonia put me back in
contact with a dear friend I hadn't seen or spoken to for over twenty
years. We were at school together, and she gave her address and phone
number. I have since left a message on her answer phone to contact
me.

The beatuiful thing about seeing the convent again and learning about
how it's chnged into a conference centre and what it can do for others
within a community, is that any one can visit it. Sanctuary of Angels
could go there and have a workshop there if they wanted too. I
explained to sisters what I was following and doing with my life and
what I'd joined, when I told them of this group they were deeply
touched and thought what we were doing was beautiful.

I felt the visit to the conference centre was a guided path that day,
to see and meet old friends and have guidance from the sisters. I
will be going back there again, as they hold old girl reunions each
year, I've added my name to the list.

It was a wonderful day, I came out feeling very happy, strong,
confident, and certainly guided. I felt like I was being given
extra encouragement from both the Angels and the sisters to carry on
meeting my goal. This is to teach drama and continue my involvement
with acting, and using the acting to carry messages within my acting
about caring for others and teaching both adults and children drama to
either act if they wish, but to mainly become more confident within
them selves both spiritually and mentally.

This group is certainly doing that for me. Like I said a while ago.
We're a family.

in love and light,

Deborah. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx :)

Hi Everyone,

Hope you’re all well and shining brightly x

It was wonderful to read about your day in Wales Deborah, and a great
achievement to help raise all that money. It was also very touching to
read your story. I’m looking forward to reading about yours too
Cinthia x

I’m going away again this weekend to visit my family in Bath. I
haven’t seen one of my sisters and my nephew since last August and my
parents and other two sisters since just before Christmas. I’m sure
we’ll all have lots of cuddles, fun and laughter.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead x

I went to see Bruce Springsteen at half term. In Manchester. Do you know what that means? To me, anyway?

Well, a lot of organising to start with, but it then flowed like this...I got the train to Manchester on the Wednesday morning, got there about half 1. Then, I had a couple of hours of childfree shopping!!
Not that I shop very much, you could day I'm not a shopaholic, or even a shopper at all (we live 15 mins from Reading, and I can't remember the last time I went.) And in closeish proximity to London, but who would want to go there?!! Sorry, I drift off.

Anyway, occasionally I do need to get myself some new clothes, so off to good old M&S to buy some wait for it mega sexy soft and luxurious what every girl needs - cardigans. Yep, boring but necessary. Ended up with my favourite colour, pink of course, but the sheer joy of going into a changing room without a pram, buggy, clingy child or bored preschooler was just heaven on its own.

Then made my way to some old family friends who I'd not seen for years, who we used to spend New Years with, go on holiday with and have posh picnics in the park with listening to some classical concert. Janet is now 68, her boys have grown up and are now parents themselves, and since John was away on business, it would be just me and her. As I walked up her familiar drive, I felt tears come to my eyes - I have so many happy memories of coming here...Janet opened the door, and it was like we'd seen each other last month, instead of last decade. "Come in, come in, so good to see you, would you like some champagne?!" Well, it was only 4 in the afternoon, but who cared - I was going on the Manchester metro to the concert, I had no kids = no responsibilities for anyone else, I happen to love champagne, so who was I to argue?!

We chatted and laughed and hugged and cried and swapped stories about our kids and grandkids and holidays and memories, and it was. Just. Fantastic. To see her again. She made me cheese and onion pie, an old favourite, and pulled open a bottle of red - would you like a glass of wine? Go on, of course you would.

Anyway, I ended up being late meeting my friends at Old Trafford stadium. Now there is a story. My best friend Marie had mentioned a few weeks ago that she was going to see Bruce at the Emirates stadium, and it got me thinking. Bruce is my all time favourite artist, (if I ever get into a coma, play me Bruce, he'll get me out, that's how much I like him) and although I've been out of the loop a bit with his most recent albums, and not been to see him since our last 2 kids, she made me think. And I pulled out a few of his CD's. And I looked on eBay for ticket prices, just testing the water, when....out of the blue, an old school friend emailed me. Offering a ticket to see Bruce play at Manchester. Now how much of a coincidence is that, eh? 2008 is the year of manifestations. He'd googled me or found me on Friends Reunited, and had a spare ticket. Wow.  We had been to see Bruce when we were at school together, (once or twice I thought, but actually it turns out I've seen him 4 times with this group of friends - just shows you how much having kids drains your brains. Or maybe it's just that I turned 40 this year). So meeting my friend after all these years and his wife (also a healer and teacher and mother and communicator with angels (we are so very very similar, it is spooky)) was another highlight of my trip. And of course Bruce was awesome - no warm up band, no gimmicks, no flashy costumes or fireworks, just good old rock'n roll.

To top it all off, the icing on the cake as it were, I had a lie-in in the morning, another rarity, and so very very welcome. It was just fab. I actually ended up running late, because they have this super shower with loads of attachments that send spray to different parts of your body at the same time, it was like being in a 5 star hotel, and I spent ages in there, and it made me late and I ended up running for my train!! So much for a quiet morning coffee and petit pain au choc in a coffeeshop at the station, civilly waiting for my departure...Got back to Bracknell about 3.

AND. There's more. I had booked to go to Nirvana Spa with that same friend Marie, who can only go on Thursdays in holiday time, so after spending an hour with my kids and hubby, I swanned off again for a night of luxury pampering. The cherry on the icing on the cake. Wonderful. Wonder-full.

A girl's just gotta do what a girl's gotta do sometimes.

That was my week. Well, only 2 days worth, but that's all I can remember of that half term week. Just wanted to share my joy really.
Hope you have a similar one soon
love Cinthia x

P.S. had a lovely meditation with Zadkiel the other day, but will save that for next time. Bet you've had 2 cups of tea haven't you, this was so long.

Hi Deb,
welcome to the group - it's been while since you joined, I know, and I'm clearing a backlog but just wanted to say Hi, and please post some more about you and your daughter - what's her name, how have you been guided, angels? spirits? and how many other children do you have and how old are they and how do they connect with your daughter...not quite 20 questions but near enough, feel free to answer all or none!

love Cinthia x
