Hello everyone and merry meet!! I am WillowSprite and a student of
withcraft.
I have only been studying for a few months now but am enjoying what I
have learned so far!
I have not really chosen a path or tradition yet its so hard to decide
because I like so many of
the diffrent pths of the Craft! Right now I am kinda stuck because I
know no other witches and have no one
to really help guide me so if u have any book suggestions or any good
websites please let me know!
Blessed Be!

willow sprite, hello.  Have you tried anything by scott cunningham or d j conway...they both are good authors on our subject matter.  i don't necessairly agree with everything they write, but they are good and i have learned a lot from reading both.

Love Cunningham…. I like Conway as well, but you have to be careful and source her stuff, not all of it (specifically Celtic history) is accurate. Same thing for Ravenwolf.

My biggest advice would be to study study study and don’t accept something because a BNP  (Big Name Pagan) stuck it in a book.  All this stuff about millions killed in the Burning times, and Wicca going back to the Paleolithic…forget it…that is tripe.

Have fun though…

yeah...i have to agree with what you said about some of conway's stuff.  and ravenwolf is something of a fluffy bunny at times..lol.  the old paganism goes WAY back, but not wicca.  and that is good sound advice you gave. study study study and except what ya feel is truth for you.
