Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Technical Consultant with proven expertise in Project/Program Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a PMP or PMO certification and have hands-on experience leading and delivering large-scale Workday implementations, integrations, and enhancements. This role requires a blend of technical Workday expertise and program governance/project management capabilities to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Implementation & Support
Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Financials, Recruiting, etc.).
Provide technical expertise in Workday integrations, reporting, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
Project & Program Management
Drive Workday-related projects from initiation to completion using PMI best practices.
Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, methodologies, and reporting standards.
Oversee risk management, issue resolution, and change management.
Stakeholder Management
Act as a liaison between HR, Finance, IT, and other business units.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with Workday support and partners.
Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
Recommend process and system enhancements aligned with business strategy.
Mentor team members on Workday technical capabilities and project management standards.
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HRIS, or related field.
PMP or PMO certification (mandatory).
5–8 years of hands-on Workday experience (implementation, integrations, reporting).
5+ years of Project or Program Management experience, preferably in ERP/HCM systems.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
