Experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Spark, RedShift, Big Query, Apache Stack) Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Understanding of the software development life cycle and associated tools such as Bamboo, JIRA and Git. Basic understanding of NoSQL technologies (Splunk, ELK, AWS DynamoDB). Experience in Reporting / Visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire). Hands on Linux/Unix system experience either as a systems administrator or software developer. Have a passion for problem solving and automation and a willingness to continue growing your skills in this area. Streaming/Real-Time data technologies (AWS Kinesis, Kafka, Flume). Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies. Self-motivated and a self-starter. If you have a question, be pro-active in finding the answer and communicate your learnings with teammates Excellent oral and written skill
