Job Summary
We are seeking an OpenText Media Management (OTMM) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions. This role is responsible for the full-stack architecture of OTMM environments, including on-prem, cloud, and containerized deployments. You will spearhead complex upgrade strategies to the latest 25.4 version and oversee the integration of associated components like OTDS and DMTS. The ideal candidate combines deep DAM domain expertise with hands-on development skills in Java and Spring Boot to extend system capabilities.
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
DAM Architecture & Implementation
- System Design: Architect comprehensive OTMM solutions, including the configuration of OTDS (Directory Services), QDS, DMTS (Transformation Services), and AMD.
- Deployment Models: Expertly setup environments across physical on-prem servers, cloud infrastructure, or modern Kubernetes/Container deployments.
- Modernization: Design and execute mission-critical upgrade paths from legacy versions (16.5 or 21.x) to the latest OTMM 25.4 platform.
Development & Integration
- Custom Development: Extend OTMM functionalities by developing robust applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Integration Engineering: Oversee the integration of the DAM platform with downstream marketing, web, and enterprise systems to ensure seamless asset distribution.
- Ingestion Optimization: Utilize the AssetImport tool to streamline high-volume asset ingestion and improve metadata accuracy.
Security & DevOps
- Asset Security: Implement advanced security workflows and access controls to safeguard sensitive digital assets and ensure HIPAA/industry compliance.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Leverage Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment, and manage version control via GitBucket.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system health and implement performance optimizations to handle large-scale media processing and high user concurrency.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- OpenText Media Manager (OTMM): Expert-level configuration and architectural design experience.
- DAM Components: Hands-on experience with OTDS, QDS, DMTS, and AMD.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Jenkins-based CI/CD workflows.
- Upgrade Mastery: Proven experience upgrading enterprise OTMM environments to version 25.x.
