Required Skills & Qualifications
- DRM Expertise: 10–15 years of experience specifically within the Oracle Hyperion DRM platform.
- EPM Tools: Hands-on experience working with HFM and PBCS.
- Financial Background: Extensive experience operating within finance and accounting domains, supporting large-scale implementation projects.
- Scripting: Strong proficiency in PowerShell and Batch.
- Seniority: Must have a proven track record as a Lead or SME who can operate independently.
- Location: Must be local to the Boston, MA area for hybrid work.
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-level Oracle DRM Subject Matter Expert to lead multiple master data initiatives for Santander Bank. This is a senior-level role where you will be the primary authority on the Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM) platform. You will focus on integrating DRM with Oracle ERP GL and EPM products (PBCS and HFM), ensuring that financial hierarchies and metadata remain consistent across the enterprise. As a Lead, you will be expected to provide architectural best practices, design complex workflows, and manage enhancements without requiring on-the-job training.
Technical Core & Responsibilities
Master Data Governance (DRM/DRG)
- Expert Configuration: Architect and troubleshoot DRM Exports, Imports, Action Scripts, and Blenders to maintain high-integrity metadata.
- Workflow Automation: Design and implement DRG (Data Relationship Governance) workflows using industry best practices to streamline change management.
- Architecture Advisory: Evaluate current application designs and provide expert recommendations to align with enterprise standards and scalability.
Integration & Financial Domain
- EPM Ecosystem: Seamlessly integrate DRM with Oracle ERP General Ledger and EPM cloud/on-prem solutions like PBCS (Planning) and HFM (Financial Management).
- Domain Expertise: Leverage deep finance and accounting knowledge to collaborate effectively with FP&A and Accounting teams on implementation projects.
- Data Mapping: Ensure accurate mapping of hierarchies and properties across disparate financial systems to support regulatory and internal reporting.
Scripting & Documentation
- Automation: Utilize PowerShell and Batch scripting to automate metadata loads and system maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge Transfer: Produce mandatory, high-quality documentation for solution designs, technical training, and official handovers.
