Job Summary

Nucleusteq is seeking a senior Snowflake Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-grade Snowflake Data Platform hosted entirely on Microsoft Azure. This hybrid role requires the architect to design multi-zone data layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold), define strict governance frameworks, and lead the complex migration of legacy ETL pipelines and data assets (potentially from systems like Fiserv or CardWorks) into the modern Snowflake environment, ensuring compliance with PCI DSS, SOX, and GLBA.

  • Data Modeling & Layers: Design and establish Bronze (Raw), Silver (Curated), and Gold (Presentation) data layers following best practices.
  • Data Orchestration & Migration: Define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks using tools like dbt, Airflow, or equivalent. Lead the migration of existing ETL pipelines and data workloads.
  • Governance & Compliance: Implement security, compliance, and monitoring (RBAC, masking, lineage, cost tracking), collaborating with teams to ensure adherence to regulations like PCI DSS, SOX, and GLBA.
  • Quality & Leadership: Set up data quality validation rules and audit controls. Mentor engineers and analysts on Snowflake optimization and best practices.

Thanks,
