Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Developer to join our client’s team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React and Node.js with working knowledge of Java-based backend services. This role requires hands-on development across both frontend and backend layers, contributing to scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications.

 

Must-Have Skills (Top 3)

·         React.js & Node.js (80%)

·         Java (20%)

·         Full-stack development experience with RESTful APIs

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and maintain frontend (UI) and backend (BFF – Backend for Frontend) components.

·         Build responsive and adaptive web applications using React.js and modern frontend frameworks.

·         Develop backend services using Node.js / Java, REST APIs, and GraphQL.

·         Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive and user-friendly experiences.

·         Apply best engineering practices to build high-performance, scalable, and secure applications.

·         Contribute to solution design and architecture in partnership with Enterprise and Application Architecture teams.

·         Write catlean, maintainable, and well-documented code following TDD, unit testing, and security best practices.

·         Implement and adhere to Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) at the solution level.

·         Use monitoring and logging tools to proactively improve application performance and reliability.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve complex code-level issues efficiently.

·         Leverage GitHub Copilot across the SDLC for pair programming, test automation, and productivity enhancement.

·         Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

 

Technical Skills

·         Frontend: React.js, Next.js, Micro Front-End Architecture, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap

·         Backend: Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, GraphQL, Kafka/MQ, Redis

·         Databases: MongoDB, Cassandra (NoSQL)

·         DevOps & Cloud: AWS / Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git

·         Monitoring & Logging: Splunk, Dynatrace, Quantum Metrics, Prometheus, Grafana

·         Tools: Jira, GitHub

·         Additional Exposure: AI/ML concepts (good to have)
