Mandatory Technical Requirements

1. Project Leadership: 10+ years of Program/Project Management experience with a strong PMO background.
2. WMS Domain: Must have led 2–3 full lifecycle WMS implementations (Manhattan Associates experience is critical).
3. Scale: Experience managing large, multi-year programs with budgets exceeding several million dollars.
4. Financial Acumen: Direct, hands-on experience in budget management and financial forecasting for IT projects.
5. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills for managing client-side executives and vendor partners.

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a senior-level WMS Project Manager to lead a massive, multi-year implementation of the Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) solution. This high-visibility role requires a leader with a proven track record of managing at least 2–3 end-to-end WMS programs of similar scale. You will own the project lifecycle—including budget, timeline, and resource management—while acting as a strategic partner to client leadership. You will manage a cross-functional team of 20–25 professionals and coordinate with multiple technical tracks to ensure a seamless global solution.

 

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

Program Governance & Execution

• End-to-End Ownership: Manage all aspects of the 3–5 year program, ensuring alignment with project milestones and enterprise business goals.
• Stakeholder Management: Work directly with client leadership to refine the execution plan, capture complex requirements, and manage third-party vendors.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a project team of 20–25 members, driving collaboration across different technical and operational workstreams.

Financial & Operational Control

• Budget Management: Maintain hands-on control over project finances to ensure completion within strict budgetary constraints.
• Reporting & Communication: Facilitate weekly status meetings and publish comprehensive status reports, identifying risks and dependencies early.
• Project Planning: Own and update the project plan, utilizing advanced PMO methodologies to navigate the complexities of a large-scale Manhattan WMS rollout.

WMS Solution Integration

• Manhattan MAWM Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of Manhattan WMS (specifically Manhattan Active) to oversee the solution design and deployment.
• Cross-Track Coordination: Collaborate with external tracks (Logistics, Supply Chain, and IT Infrastructure) to deliver an integrated end-to-end warehouse solution.
