Title: Data Migration Development Lead – AWS
Location: St. Louis, MO


We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Development Lead to lead the design, development, and execution of enterprise-scale data migration solutions on AWS.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end data migration development, testing, and production cutover.
Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and DMS.
Develop migration solutions using Python, SQL, PySpark/Spark.
Implement data transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and audit controls.
Design incremental/CDC migration processes and optimize pipeline performance.
Lead developers, conduct code reviews, and resolve complex technical issues.
Support mock migrations, dress rehearsals, production cutover, and post-migration validation.
Implement monitoring, logging, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.

Required Skills
8+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL, or data migration.
3+ years of technical leadership experience.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, DMS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
Strong Python, SQL, and PySpark/Spark skills.
Experience with large-scale data migration, reconciliation, and production cutovers.
Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred: Redshift, Aurora/RDS, EMR, Athena, Kafka, Terraform, CI/CD, and AWS certification.
