Senior Business Analyst (Mortgage Collateral & Valuation)
- Location: 100% Onsite in Irving, TX
- Pay Rate: $55/hr C2C
- Experience: 7+ years (Implied by Senior/Lead role)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 100% onsite role in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the Mortgage Collateral lifecycle, specifically valuation in origination and servicing. You will lead requirement sessions, analyze current/future state workflows, and develop critical documentation, including BRDs, User Stories, and Data Mapping Documents. This role requires expertise in API Integration, process modeling (Visio/Lucidchart), managing the product backlog in JIRA/Confluence, and ensuring compliance with key regulatory/investor requirements (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA).
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of the Mortgage Collateral lifecycle, especially valuation (BPO, appraisal, hybrid appraisal).
- Expertise in Requirements Elicitation, Analysis, and Documentation (BRD, FRD, User Stories).
- Proficiency in Process Mapping (as-is/to-be) using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Skilled in Data Mapping and translating business rules into validation logic.
- Familiarity with API specifications to support integration design.
- Strong Stakeholder Management and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Awareness of regulatory and investor requirements (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA) related to collateral valuations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement elicitation and analysis sessions.
- Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRD), User Stories, and Data Mapping Documents.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integration design and define SLAs.
- Drive UAT planning and execution, including test scenario creation and business sign-off.
- Support product roadmap and backlog grooming sessions.
