Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Project Manager with 7+ years of experience to lead a high-impact Private Equity valuation initiative. This onsite role in New York, NY, is crucial for coordinating cross-functional teams and managing technical workflows to ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the SDLC, experience managing data-centric projects within financial services/fintech, and proven expertise in managing UAT cycles and coordinating with external technology teams (including the IBM implementation team). Functional knowledge of Private Equity and valuation processes is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project coordination across internal and external teams, managing timelines, deliverables, and dependencies for valuation features and integrations.
- Facilitate UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution, ensuring product quality across environments.
- Collaborate closely with BAs and Developers to ensure clear alignment on technical requirements and lead technical discussions.
- Track and report on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership through regular governance meetings.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in technical project management or a senior business analyst capacity.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with data-oriented projects.
- Proven experience managing UAT cycles and coordinating with external technology teams (vendors/implementers).
- Mandatory experience within financial services or fintech.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, Scrum, or Agile certification is strongly preferred.
- Functional understanding of Private Equity workflows and valuation processes is a plus.
