Required Skills & Qualifications
- PeopleSoft FSCM Functional – General Ledger, Travel and Expense
- Hands-on SQL and PS Query knowledge
- Understanding of PeopleTools concepts (Application Designer, Application Engines, PeopleCode, AWE, etc.)
- Good knowledge of PeopleSoft Technical with experience in PeopleSoft Support and Enhancement projects
- Functional understanding of Account Payable and Asset Management (additional)
- Good understanding of accounting concepts and accounting entries
- Experience driving meetings/sessions with business teams
- Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills
- Basic understanding of AWS and UNIX (preferrable)
Role Overview
Perform a Business Analyst role requiring interaction with business, IT, and various other client teams. This role serves as a liaison between business users and the technical team, coordinating with Customer & Cognizant onsite/offshore resources. The consultant will identify pain points, recommend best practices, and support production defect remediation.
Technical Core & Responsibilities
Functional & Technical
- Apply PeopleSoft FSCM functional knowledge across General Ledger, Travel and Expense, Account Payable, and Asset Management
- Use SQL and PS Query hands-on for data analysis and reporting
- Leverage PeopleTools (Application Designer, Application Engines, PeopleCode, AWE, ExceltoCI, Integration Broker)
Business Analysis & Coordination
- Drive meetings and sessions with business teams
- Coordinate with Business Process Owners and Application Owners for functional inputs
- Liaison between business users and the technical team
- Coordinate with Customer & Cognizant onsite/offshore resources
Support & Delivery
- Production defect remediation and coordination with L1 support team
- Develop and perform unit test scripts
- Work in line with IT Governance policy to ensure adherence to quality schedule and project timelines
