Required Skills & Qualifications

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a multinational payments product team focused on digital payment solutions and transaction processing. The ideal candidate will drive functional analysis, requirement gathering, solution validation, and process optimization across complex payment ecosystems while ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and seamless customer experiences.
Technical Core & Responsibilities
Functional Analysis & Requirements
- Drive detailed functional analysis for payment product features and enhancements
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to define business requirements
- Document end-to-end payment workflows including authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling
- Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and process flows
Agile Delivery
- Conduct backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions
- Perform impact analysis for regulatory and system changes
- Support Agile delivery cycles and production releases
- Coordinate with QA teams for functional validation and UAT
Compliance & Optimization
- Work closely with compliance and risk teams to ensure regulatory adherence
- Analyze transaction flows and identify process improvement opportunities
- Monitor payment processing metrics and recommend optimizations
- Create functional documentation and operational guides
Required Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Card Payments, Digital Wallets, Account-to-Account Transfers, and Payment Transaction Lifecycles
- Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale payment platforms
Good to Have Skills
- Python
- Experience with Financial Crimes Compliance
- AML / Alert Investigation exposure
- Knowledge of Actimize or other AML platforms
Technology Environment
- JIRA, Confluence, SQL
- Python (Preferred)
- Agile/Scrum Tools
- Payments Messaging Systems
- AML/Compliance Platforms (Preferred)
