Job Summary
We are seeking an OCI PaaS & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to provision and manage the foundational cloud services required for enterprise custom extensions. This role focuses on the technical administration of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) stack, specifically Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of cloud resources, including compute, storage, and identity security, ensuring a high-availability environment for application development and process automation.
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
PaaS & Database Administration
- Service Provisioning: Lead the creation and lifecycle management of Oracle ATP (Autonomous Transaction Processing) databases and OIC instances.
- Storage & Compute: Configure and monitor OCI Object Storage and Compute SFTP resources to support backend data requirements.
- Environment Optimization: Perform periodic capacity planning and performance monitoring to ensure cloud resources meet development demands.
Identity & Security Governance
- IAM Management: Act as the Security Administrator for OCI Identity Domains, enforcing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and complex password policies.
- Directory Integration: Manage the integration and synchronization between OCI and external directories like Active Directory.
- User Lifecycle: Manage user onboarding, role assignments, and granular access control across various PaaS modules.
Process & Application Management
- OIC Oversight: Maintain full control over Process Automation applications, including versioning and resource allocation within the OIC instance.
- Configuration & Patching: Handle application-specific setups, maintain workspaces, and apply necessary patches to ensure platform stability.
- Documentation: Maintain rigorous documentation of cloud configurations, security protocols, and infrastructure changes.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI): Advanced hands-on experience in OCI administration.
- Database & Integration: Proficiency in managing ATP DB and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- IAM & Security: Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management, MFA, and AD integration.
- Compute & Storage: Practical experience with OCI Object Storage and Compute SFTP setups.
