We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will represent a product family of technical governance bodies, provide architectural documentation, drive technology evaluations, and guide design decisions across multiple applications. This role demands strong technical expertise, industry-standard security knowledge, and proven experience in the Credit Card industry.
Represent a product family of technical governance bodies.
Provide feedback and propose improvements to architecture governance practices.
Deliver architectural documentation for both application-specific and enterprise-wide solutions, ensuring alignment with business/technology inputs, firm standards, and risk management needs.
Guide the evaluation of current and emerging technologies using existing standards and frameworks.
Provide ongoing technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
Develop secure, high-quality production code, and review/debug code written by others.
Drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations/processes.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in one or more key technical domains.
Contribute to the engineering community by advocating best practices, frameworks, tools, and processes throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Influence peers and decision-makers on the adoption of leading-edge technologies.
7+ years of experience as a Technical Architect or similar role.
Strong familiarity with PCI compliance and industry-standard security patterns (e.g., tokenization, encryption, key management).
Proven experience managing design considerations and priorities across multiple stakeholders.
Domain expertise in the Credit Card industry (highly desirable).
Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts and practices.
Strong ability to create and interpret C4 diagrams.
Solid experience in designing and reviewing secure, scalable, high-quality applications.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Hands-on development experience in enterprise-grade applications.
Knowledge of emerging cloud-native patterns and microservices design.
Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and governance frameworks.
