Summary of Role:

Job Title: Quality Engineer – Data Platforms (Snowflake/Databricks)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual and automation testing, hands-on coding experience, and deep knowledge of data validation and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have experience testing data pipelines, data warehouses, and healthcare systems in a cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and automation testing for data-driven applications
  
• Validate ETL pipelines and backend data using SQL and Python
  
• Develop automated database validation and test scripts
  
• Test data warehousing solutions and ensure data accuracy across sources
  
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
  

Required Skills:

• Strong SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations)
  
• Python for test automation (SQLAlchemy, Pandas)
  
• Automation tools: Selenium, Airflow
  
• ETL & Data Platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica, Talend
  
• Data Warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema, SCD)
  
• Healthcare domain experience (Medicaid, HIPAA, claims, ICD/CPT/HL7)
  
• Tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, GitHub, Tableau/Power BI
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AI tools (GitHub Copilot, M365 Copilot, Snowflake Cortex)
  
• Exposure to AI/ML model and data pipeline testing
