Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Jamf Admin with strong expertise in Jamf Pro and iOS device management. The candidate will be responsible for managing Apple devices, application deployments, MDM policies, automation, security, troubleshooting, and enterprise mobile device management.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Manage and maintain Jamf Pro for iOS device management, including configuration profiles, policies, and application deployments.

·         Deploy, update, and troubleshoot iOS applications across corporate and employee devices.

·         Develop and implement MDM policies to ensure compliance and security of Apple devices.

·         Collaborate with IT security and network teams to enforce mobile security policies and access controls.

·         Automate device provisioning, software updates, and patch management using Jamf scripting and API integrations.

·         Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support for Jamf-related issues, including device enrollment and user access problems.

·         Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and generate reports on device health and compliance.

·         Stay updated on Apple’s iOS ecosystem, new Jamf features, and enterprise mobile device management best practices.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

·         3+ years of experience managing iOS devices using Jamf Pro in an enterprise or education environment.

·         Strong knowledge of Apple Business Manager (ABM), Apple School Manager (ASM), and Volume Purchase Program (VPP).

·         Experience with Zero-Touch Deployment, Automated Device Enrollment (ADE), and Apple Configurator 2.

·         Proficiency in Jamf scripting using Bash, Python, or AppleScript.

·         Familiarity with Intune, MDM/UEM solutions, and mobile security best practices.

·         Strong troubleshooting skills for iOS app deployment, Wi-Fi/network configurations, and enterprise integration.

·         Excellent communication and documentation skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·         Jamf 300 or 400 certification or equivalent experience.

·         Experience integrating Jamf with Active Directory, Okta, or other identity management solutions.

·         Knowledge of iOS app development, APIs, and enterprise app deployment methodologies.

·         Understanding of VPN, Wi-Fi, Certificates, SCEP, and PKI as they relate to mobile device security.
