Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Lead with over 8 years of experience to drive quality engineering initiatives onsite in Fort Mill, SC. This role is a blend of high-level technical execution and team leadership, requiring expertise in both Selenium and Playwright frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the QA team, handling complex release cycles, and customizing hybrid automation frameworks to ensure the stability of critical financial applications.

 

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

Technical Leadership & Strategy

• Team Lead: Lead the QA team through Agile sprints, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective resource management.
• Release Management: Take ownership of handling releases, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production deployments.
• Framework Customization: Expertise in customizing and enhancing automation frameworks using Keyword Driven and Hybrid approaches.

 

Automated & Manual Testing

• Scripting Mastery: Proficiency in writing and executing automated scripts using Java and TypeScript.
• Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, and Rest Assured for API testing.
• Testing Tools: Skilled in unit testing frameworks like JUnit and TestNG, and build tools like Maven.
• Manual Testing: Expertise in developing and executing detailed manual test scenarios when automated solutions are not applicable.

 

Infrastructure & Collaboration

• Version Control: Extensive experience managing code repositories using GitHub.
• Agile Practices: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to operate efficiently within fast-paced development cycles.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to bridge technical requirements between developers and stakeholders.
