Cloud Architecture & Design
Design and Architect Solutions: Lead the design and delivery of complex, multi-tier cloud solutions on AWS, adhering to the AWS Well-Architected Framework (Security, Performance Efficiency, Reliability, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence).
AWS DR implementation experience
IaC Development and Management: Actively design, develop, test, and maintain robust infrastructure code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation to provision and manage AWS resources (VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, etc.).
Automation: Drive automation in infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and deployment processes, integrating IaC solutions with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
Security & Compliance: Embed security best practices into all architectural designs and IaC templates, focusing on IAM, Security Groups, encryption, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2, PCI DSS).
Cost Optimization: Proactively monitor and optimize AWS service consumption and architecture for cost efficiency (FinOps), identifying and implementing strategies to reduce operational expenses.
Migration and Modernization: Guide the technical strategy for migrating on-premise workloads to AWS and modernizing existing cloud applications using microservices and serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Fargate).
