We are seeking a strong AWS/Java/ETL Developer with experience in data modernization, cloud migration, enterprise Data Lakes, and cloud-native application development on AWS.
🔹 Must-Have Skills:
✅ 7+ years of experience writing backend software using Java
✅ 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience
✅ Strong Java / J2EE development experience
✅ Spring Framework & Hibernate
✅ AWS services: VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, API Gateway, Glue, Crawlers, Athena
✅ Legacy application modernization, refactoring & cloud migration
✅ AWS-based ETL jobs and high-volume data pipelines
✅ SQL – complex queries, database relationships, debugging & performance tuning
✅ RDBMS / transactional database experience
✅ Data modeling & database modernization
✅ DevOps practices and automation tools
✅ Agile/Scrum experience
✅ Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration
⭐ Nice to Have:
• AWS Certification
• Power BI / AWS QuickSight
• Government project experience
• Cloud-based ETL tools
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement AWS solutions for data modernization initiatives
• Develop cloud-native Java applications and backend systems
• Build and manage AWS Data Lakes and ETL pipelines
• Modernize legacy applications and migrate workloads to AWS
• Collaborate with developers, data teams, business analysts, and stakeholders
• Create and execute test cases
• Support high-volume data processing and analytics initiatives
