Hey, remember us?

Yes, it's been a little while. You may be asking yourself, "did these
guys cast off into the ocean, maybe hole up on an island somewhere,
and record an album??" You might not be too far off...

We have taken a break from live shows this year, and through the end
of Summer, to complete our first full-length album "When Something
Burns This Bright," which will be hitting iTunes and other stores
later this year. For recording, mixing, and mastering, we turned to
renowned area producer Scott Llamas at PopSmear Studios (in San
Rafael, CA), and now have 14 tracks that we can't wait to share with
all of you! Look for announcements and news about our official album
release, soon. For now, you can preview the first 6 songs, as well as
take a sneak peek at the cover, on our website
(www.wishinflicted.com).

Now that the album is finished, we're itching to play again, and our
next stop is a pair of festivals. First up is the North Umpqua Music
Festival, in Glide, OR, this Saturday, September 17th. This is a
homecoming of sorts for Branden, as the festival will mark a return to
his hometown, as well as being the first out-of-state gig for the
band. For those of you up near that area, or who will travel to see
us there, we're looking forward to entertaining you at the show, and
we'll have some surprises in store for you. See details below, and be
sure to get your tickets in advance, if you're planning to attend!

Also, on October 8th, we'll be one of the featured bands at the Napa
Homebrewers' Classic, a homebrew festival & keg competition, which is
a fundraiser for the Napa Rotary Club. Details at: http://tinyurl.com/NapaHC2011.
We will also have a webcast performance coming up in later October.

In further news, we will be migrating our email group over to our web
hosting service; in fact, messages will no longer be posted from the
moderator of this group, from here on out... But not to worry, we've
transferred everyone to the new service, and our occasional gig
announcements will now come from there. To ensure that future
messages come through, please add in...@wishinflicted.com (copied on
this email) to your list of trusted senders, your address book, or
other e-mail "whitelist," as we want to make sure you're kept up to
date. If for any reason you want to be removed, you'll have the same
flexibility you always did here, to update your own email
subscription.

Also, for those of you who are connected to the Social Media realm, we
hope you'll visit us at:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Wish-Inflicted/53187618555
Don't hesitate to "like" us there, of course! There you'll find some
snapshots of the recording process, you can check out the occasional
informal band updates, and other fun stuff.

Thank you for being a part of our email group, and our appreciation
goes out to everyone who has supported us over the years, and as we
have made our album. Again, we can't wait to get a copy in your
hands, so you can hear what we've been up to! We promise not to be
strangers, anymore...

Cheers, and hope to see you soon,
Brian, Branden, Emir, and Jochen
