Dear biology group,

A workshop we have occurring this summer at UC Davis in conjunction with Penn State Center for Science and the Schools is now open to any teacher in the U.S. teaching middle/high school.  This opportunity is a 4-day workshop immersed in plant phenology studies with Dr. Eric Post and learn about how his work has significantly affected our knowledge on climate change in the Arctic. You will also be able to take back materials and activities to implement in your classroom.  All meals and lodging are provided during the workshop, up to $500 for travel expenses, and a $500 stipend.  All professional development activities align with NGSS based practices and standards.
