Hello Science Education Leaders,
Below are the latest science education resources and opportunities I've heard about. Please, let me know if you have any questions about the topics in this email or if I can come out and support science work in your district.
If you have announcements to share about science or STEM-related professional learning and resources, please send them my way for the next edition. A record of these emails can be found on my website: dpi.wi.gov/science/social-media.
Cheers, Kevin

Cadavers as Educators at The Medical College of Wisconsin, on Friday, October 21st, 2016. Sessions at 10am-Noon and 1pm-3pm. Cadavers as Educators maximizes the educational value of body donors (cadavers) as medical students deliver an innovative, hands on curriculum to visiting high school students. We leverage our knowledge of anatomy & physiology to encourage healthy behaviors as well as promote health careers among visiting students. Students will have the opportunity to learn about health behaviors and then see a number of cadavers to better understand the human body and progression of disease. Pre-registration for this event is required. Teachers should email Tim Sobotka (tsob...@mcw.edu) to register their students. - JOIDES - All expenses paid ocean expedition
