Good Morning!  Please forgive the mass email – we are reaching out to all of the state branches of NSTA with similar information, so it seemed the most efficient way to communicate. You may remember that I sent you information on HMH’s Spring webinar series earlier this year and I really appreciate that you were all so willing to share the information out with your members – we had a great turnout and the feedback we received indicated that it was very helpful towards deepening understanding of best science teaching practices and of the practical application of the NGSS.

Because of the webinar series’ success, we are doing a fall series as well and I am hoping you would again be willing to pass the information on to your members. I have attached a flyer that you are welcome to distribute or post as it best fits your situation and, below, I am including a paragraph you can feel free to use in any eNewsletters or Listservs you send out.  For those of you who were so kind as to direct me to your social media websites, I will be posting the information there as well – thank you as this too generated much interaction!

We anticipate continuing to do webinar series once or twice a year and would welcome any suggestions for topics you feel science teachers are struggling with or could use practical application type information to address. You can send your requests directly to me and we will reach out to our thought leaders and authors to develop the sessions.

Again, MANY thanks for your help getting the word out and we hope that the information continues to help teachers as we all seek to forward the cause of high quality science education!  Take care – Ann
