Dear Colleagues,

Please see the request for participation in a survey below.  It is geared towards Chemistry, Physics, and Physical Science.  If that is not you could you please forward this to the staff in your building that are responsible for those subject area?  The more participants in the survey the better the results will come from it.  Thank you in advance for your participation.

Brad

Hi Everyone,

Mark Lattery (UW Oshkosh), Eric Brunsell (UW Oshkosh), Dan Hagstrom (Stevens Point Area Senior High School) and Scott Hertting (Neenah High School) developed a new survey instrument to assess the current needs of Wisconsin physics, chemistry, and physical science teachers (grades 9-12). It has been over 15 years since a study of this kind has been undertaken, so we need your participation!

All data collected with the survey will be used to support teachers through tuition scholarships and to develop new, practical professional development programs for you. The survey takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. Please share your knowledge and experience with us.

Prizes! All participants who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing to win one of two possible prizes:

A free copy of: Deep Learning in Introductory Physics (Mark Lattery, Information Age Publishing, 2016)

A free copy of: Teaching Introductory Physics (Arnold Arons, Wiley, 1997)
