Please-- don't crucify me... This is all THEORETICAL--
... as far as I can tell, my Wiseway--which I adore-- is basically a
rocket stove with a gravity fed pellet hopper...
While I would NEVER *encourage* it, (because it would both void
warrantee and UL Listings... is there any reason in a severe
emergency you could not use twigs and very small pieces of kindling to
use it as a rocket stove? I'm guessing alterations-- no burn basket,
or altering it.
I work in Emergency Management, and we are doing long term power
outage plans right now. One of the things which will occur, is I
won't be able to get pellets... eventually.
Again-- NOT recommending, nor encouraging, but before I trade in my
Wiseway... COULD it be used to provide heat and or cooking in the
most dire of circumstances??
