I have one of the original Wise pellet stoves. When the pellets get low in the bin they do not slide down from the left side to feed the rest of the pellets. This makes it a problem to run all night. It really only ends up using a little more than half the bin unless you go over and push the pellets. I am using wood & Sons pellets and i bought the stove used.
Any ideas to solve the problem. I have the left side of the stove raised up about 2 inchs to try to help.

No answers-- just have the same problem. Have used probably 3
different brands of pellets.

perhaps pop rivet 1/8 uhmw plastic to the slope / increasing it a bit
or spray the steel with silicone.

I have the exact same setup (used, original wiseway, Wood&Sons pellets) and only sometimes have this issue.
One thing I tried which did help was to add about an 8" hopper extension using sheet metal/rivots. I think the extra weight from additional pellets helps unclog the traffic jams more often, but it still happens from time to time. I previously tried putting down aluminum tape inside the hopper to make it slicker, but the adhesive didn't last long and didn't prevent the jams.

Hope you have a better experience soon!

I had this problem also and solved it by fitting the bottom of the hopper with a metal roof flashing. The flashing provides a more slippery surface. I used some paper to figure out the shape to fit the hopper, then transferred that paper pattern onto the flashing and cut with tin snips. It's been in there for at least two seasons and works great.

Alternately, I bet a layer or two of car wax on the inside hopper surfaces would also work to reduce friction keeping the pellets from dropping.

Just wanted to add that the sheet metal I cut for my hopper doesn't use any rivets. I cut it to fit and it just rests at the bottom of the hopper.

This was an occasional problem with my 2014 as well. Bought it 2014 and just retired it. Used diff softwood pellet brands but settled on Wood & Sons a few years ago. They seemed to work very well. 1Billg... has the best solution. The problem usually occurred(for me) when I let the stove run cooler and the smoke/heat moved up the input chute. This caused the pellets in the chute to get "sticky" and stop moving. Usually solved it by opening her up to get hot for a bit. Loved the stove up here in Carrabassett Valley but it ran too hot for me in the shoulder seasons. This year I retired it for a Rinnai heater which works fine but I really miss the radiant heat. BTW, my Wiseway is for sale.

my stove worked fine until the resin from the pellets slowly built a
coating on the steel.. does not take much as it is very sticky.
cleaning with a solvent for rosin and coating with a swipe of oil
fixed it. needs to be repeated when it begins to stick again.

Put a pease of sheet metal about 1 inch wide across the bottom left seem so it can't push the pellets into that seem and hang the pellets up
