Hi! I've been using Wisemapping for quite a while and wanted to share it with my teammates.  I was looking at providing some basic information, including password management.  I was uncertain how the "Forgot Password" functionality would work since we do not have email configured for this server (GCP VM).
  • No email configured.
  • Logged out of Wisemapping
  • Entered my user id (email)
  • Pressed the "Forgot Email" link assuming that I would be able to log in so long as I didn't access using the temporary password sent via email (which would never be delivered).
  • That was a bad assumption.
  • Now I'm locked out of my account with no means of resetting the password (as far as I know).
  • Since there's no admin functionality for Wisemapping, I don't know of any way to restore access to users who may do this.
I have root level access to the GCP machine hosting this instance of Wisemapping.  Is there any way to restore access to that user?

Any help (or confirmation that I've just taken a very bad step) would be appreciated.

Thanks,
-Gene

I guess support is not available here any longer.  It's a great tool, but using it as a local tool will be difficult.  At the very least, it would be nice to disable to "Forgot Password" function so that accounts would not be deleted.  So perhaps take this as a feature request.

Thanks,

-Gene
