Collaboration webinar this Friday, and more...

(I have just posted a version of this in the DF list-serve...)

I am writing to let you know about two things...

One is, a special celebration and fundraising gathering this Friday.

As of a few weeks ago, I returned from traveling to Spain to participate in the first
European Art of Collaboration gathering... it was an awesome journey!

I went there, both to spread the word about Dynamic Facilitation and Civic Councils,
AND ALSO, to continue learning about all of the many new and powerful approaches that
are being developed, to support collaboration.

Ever since I returned, I have been wanting to share some of my learnings and inspiration from this gathering.
So I've been working with Tom Atlee and Manju Lyn Bazzell to create an online participatory webinar / fundraising event for his Co-Intelligence Institute
that we'll be hosting this Friday, where I will be offering a few stories from the gathering in Spain as a conversation-starter for all of us.

Then in the last few weeks, we've had yet another series of tragic events, that are calling many of us
to deep soul-searching, to re-examine what we are doing, and to explore how we might respond more directly to
the needs of our larger social situation... 

I've done my best to speak to both of these themes in the recent e-newsletter I sent out to my list,
Sprouts of Hope in Challenging Times. I have included links to some valuable resources
for the social healing around racism and the legacy of slavery that many of us want to help happen...

Also included in the newsletter, is an invitation to the Collaboration Celebration / fundraiser this Friday,
where we will be sharing some stories from Spain, as well as engaging in a participatory exploration
of the various collaborative change efforts that we are witnessing, creating, participating in, and envisioning...
