Adam, thanks for the video link. Excellent. Rifkin is very thought
provoking. The empathy neurons are especially fascinating, as is the
whole presentation. I think he is describing where the planet needs
to go for it to survive. Beautifully said. For those interested, you

Quick additional comment: the interesting issue in my view is how
best to actually transform individual consciousness (which is the root
unit of collective consciousness) to actually live the state of
planetary empathy he rightly asserts could be the planet's salvation.
In other words how do we move from intellectually agreeing that the
human collective should be more empathetic (and new energy sources
plus rapid communication breakthroughs will certainly facilitate the
process for those receptive to felt connection) .... to a state where
the majority (one individual at a time, as there is no other way in my
view) becomes empathy itself. Again, thanks for the post.
