Everyone,

You can pre-sign up for the class next Saturday or walk in before to register. Cost is $75 but will be reimbursed when qualifications are done.

1st I want to say we only have 3 SIGNED UP AND NEED 10!

The WRRS will be offering a level 1 referee certification class March 10^th at Appleton West High school. You must sign up AND pay the class fee online on the USA Rugby website. This is the only way for USA Rugby to track who is certified.

Below are the links for the Touch Judge and L1 certification class.

To get your fee back from the WRRS:

You must also take the Touch Judge Certification.
If you already are a certified Touch Judge, then you must take the Assistant Referee certification.

The WRRS will refund your TJ or AR certification if you:

Referee 3 matches, or if you referee 2 matches and TJ or AR 2.

You can also earn a free referee kit which includes Jersey and a set of touch flags if you referee 5 matches minimum and become a full-time referee.

These matches can be any level of competition from Middles School to Senior leagues!

The stuff that you need to do to get certified include...

1. Get CIPPed as a referee if not current (below)

2. Finish the pre-course material...

A) Law Exam

B) Rugby Ready

C) Concussion Protocol

3. Register for the L1 course in Appleton
