Everyone it’s hard to believe that the spring season is over after this weekend’s boys HS state championships in Cottage Grove. Every weekend was a blast to me, and our referee society with the games that we refereed and quality of the games. Wisconsin is truly a top-quality rugby state.

 

Whitewater winning 7s national championship, Scylla playing for a national championship and the HS Girls WISCO event was one of the best things we did as a society in a long time to develop this great game. And of course, the start of middle school tackle rugby is only going to get better. Does it get any better then this!

 

The WRRS this spring went to an invoice and NOT pay at the pitch for all tournaments this spring. We are also going to do it for the summer tournaments. At each tournament, there will be a head referee and he or she will send the referee info to me and I will send the invoice to the tournament director. If you have any questions on this please contact me off group.

 

Again, great job to everyone this spring. It’s you, the teams, the WRRS that make this sport and Wisconsin great by working together!
