Room on bus to Playa

Hey everyone, I plan on taking my bus to Burning Man this year & have room for others who want to ride along. It's been converted in to an RV so it has a toilet, shower, bunks, & a small kitchen. The goal is to get 7 or more people to ride along & split the cost of gas. I plan on leaving Friday, Aug 25th (the earlier the better), drive straight through, & arrive sometime Sunday. On the way home I plan on leaving either Sunday or Monday depending on the consensus & how Exodus is going. Ideally I could use 1 or more drivers to split shifts. If not, it is about a 42 hour drive & I would obviously need to take some breaks. It's actually fun to drive the bus after you get behind the wheel for a 1/2 hour & get the feel for it.

I have room for people to sleep on the bus if weather is horrible or if you just don't want to pitch a tent in the desert. The other advantage is I can haul a lot of stuff so you don't have to figure out how to pack your bikes & everything else in to a car. Let me know either here or better yet e-mail me @ liveyourlif...@gmail.com

Sorry, I should have updated this sooner. The bus got scuttled due to lack of riders. I had to make that call & focus my efforts on getting my van & trailer ready for the journey. I have 1 confirmed rider in the van & have room for 1, maybe 2 more. It's a Honda Odyssey & I will be pulling a 6' X 10' trailer which should be more than sufficient to haul all our stuff. Still leaving on Friday Aug 22nd in the morning (from Madison) & expect to return on Monday the 1st.

 

I will be at the meeting this Sunday Aug 10th if you want to meet/discuss riding with.

Yes. Taking the bus & have a vehicle pass. Plan on driving straight through, stopping occasionally to see the sights.
