WMEA Board Nominations

From the desk of WMEA President Warren:
As we get closer to this week's conference, I'd like to provide a few bits of information on behalf of the WMEA Board.
The Board has been working on, with the feedback of our members, the mission of
Wisconsin Marketing Education Association.
Linked here are some proposed changes to our purpose and vision going forward. We feel this will strengthen our organization and how we serve our members. Please look over the document bring any discussion items or comments to contribute to the member
meeting this Thursday. We plan to discuss and possibly vote on a change to the purpose and vision of WMEA.
Additionally, we'd like to open WMEA Board nominations to all Wisconsin Marketing Educators. Please nominate individuals you feel will be great additions to the 2019 board.
Open positions include:
· President
· Secretary
· Treasurer
· Secondary Representative
All positions are three year terms. Anyone can nominate and be nominated, however active board members must also be registered and paid members of WMEA and be involved in/attend convention for the terms in which they serve. Please use this Google form to nominate someone for these positions. Nominations will be open until 8:00 am Thursday, October 24th. Nominees will be contacted and voting will take place at the member meeting at 3:45 on Thursday during convention.
