“I would like to announce the hiring of the Consumer Affairs Coordinator for the Bureau of Prevention Treatment and Recovery. Ellie Jarvie will be starting on Monday, January 26th. Ellie has a lengthy career working in the field, serving both youth and adults with mental illness. In addition, she has extensive experience in public speaking and advocacy. Ellie will be working with all of the Bureau's Sections in the promotion of recovery and the inclusion of peers in state and local policy and as providers. Her own lived experience, as a consumer who has received mental health services and also a family member, along with her work experience, will serve her well in her efforts.
