The lunch menu for today is - grilled cheeseburger on a whole wheat bun, oven baked beans, Kellog's Gripz Crackers, Cinnamon Applesauce and Milk
Let’s keep the challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts.
Woodlands students respect the opinion of others whether they agree with the other person or not. During a discussion, you should respect the other students’ comments, opinions, and ideas. Listen to their thoughts attentively and do not interrupt until they have finished their entire thought. Then when possible you can make statements like, “I agree with you, and I also feel that…” or “You made a valid point but I disagree with you because...” or “I feel you made an excellent observation and it made me realize…” At no time do Woodland Students put down or make fun of another student for their opinion, thought or idea that they share.
Our word or phrase for the week is Gratitude.

5th and 6th Grade Girls Basketball this evening has been canceled.
Huron High School Cheerleaders will be offering something NEW this year. A JUNIOR cheer clinic for grades 3 - 6. This is a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Cheerleading. Forms for the clinic are available outside the school office in the wall pockets. Hurry and get your form as the Junior Clinic is next week Jan. 10th and 11th at the Shawnee Elementary Gym. Get your forms and information today as there is a deadline.
School Fees - Next Friday, January 13th is the end of the quarter. Any student that has student obligations (owes school fees, money owed, equipment damaged or books not returned) will have his/her grade card held in the office. Please make sure all student obligations are met.
