The lunch menu for today is: Italian Meatball Sub, Sweet Peas and Carrots, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Choice of Fruit and Milk.

 

Reward Day – Need to make sure you are coming to school, doing your work and treating others with respect to be invited.

 

App Team - Mrs. Lacrosse would like to meet with you this week to begin work on the garden app.  Come to a meeting either Thursday after school until 4:30 or Friday before school at 8:00. Please try to make one (or both) of these meetings. If you are not going to be able to attend, please see Mrs. lacrosse or Ethan Lee for details on the following Monday. Again, try to make at least one of these meetings or get details later.

Flu Season is here!!!  Help keep your classmates healthy by:

1.    Washing your hands often or using hand sanitizer, especially before eating and after sneezing or coughing,  

2.   Keeping your hands away from your eyes, ears, nose and mouth.  

3.   Using good cough etiquette by coughing and sneezing into your sleeve or a kleenex rather than your hands. 

 

Jump Rope for Heart if anyone still has their envelope out, it was due on Friday. Please return all envelopes to Mrs. Skavnak today.

 

Let’s keep the challenge alive. Look for others that are doing Acts of Kindness and fill out a chain link for them. 

 

Our word or phrase for the week is Character – William Bennett said, “If we want our children to possess the traits of character we most admire, we need to teach them what those traits are and why they deserve both admiration and allegiance. Children must learn to identify the forms and content of those traits.”

 

The Lost and Found is overflowing. If you are missing items please stop by and see if anything belongs to you. Some of the items have been placed on a table in the hallway. Items left at the end of the quarter will be donated to goodwill.

 

Ecology Club members...remember your meeting today is actually a field trip out to BGSU Arboretum.  Be ready for the weather and hiking around with warm clothes and appropriate shoes.  We will leave Woodlands around 4 and return around 5. So, PLEASE have your ride ready to pick you up here at that time!
