SR. LEGISLATIVE ANALYST
Democratic coalition building organization is looking for a very special Legislative Policy Analyst to join their team. This is an established organization that is looking for a person who understands the Congressional process, who takes pride in being able to create partnerships (both on the Hill and off) on behalf of their cause.

This is an opportunity to be the “go to” Legislative analyst for the team and to work very closely with the Executive Director. The right person should have Hill and Legislative experience. Strong writing skills and EXCELLENT written and verbal communication and the ability to work both parties.
This is a chance to get the responsibility you have been looking for: Track and monitor Legislation, talking points and correspondence on Legislative issues. Conduct research on policy matters, propose, initiate and maintain partnerships. You will also get to attend meetings regarding issues, plan conferences and meetings, develop and maintain the website as well as communicating with members regarding Legislative developments. Maintain files and database on initiatives in various Congressional Districts .
