GLQUOTE.COM expects to make a major impact on the construction and insurance industries with the launch of their Per Project General Liability program. As of August 1, 2012 small and medium sized contractors can get general liability insurance on a per job basis rather than purchasing annual policies. The program is designed to address several problems created for both contractors and insurance carriers by today’s tough economy.
Per project insurance not an entirely new concept. Carriers have been insuring large construction projects on a per job basis for a long time on OCIP or Wrap-up policies. These OCIP policies typically run upwards of $50,000 for one project. GLQUOTE.COM is taking this concept to smaller contractors. Contractors will now be able to get a small remodel project covered for as little as $223.
