Hollywood, CA. - For more than 100 years, America has had a fascination with radio. From the first messages sent across the Pacific Ocean via Morse Code, to the internal wars for dominance between AM and FM, radio has always been a quietly and dramatically at war. RADIO WARS aims to expose the otherwise unknown struggles that have gone on behind the scenes of radio since its humble beginnings. Who really invented radio? Who controls the content we hear? Will terrestrial radio exist after Internet radio becomes playable in our cars and homes, or will AM and FM go the way of fax machines and drive-in movies? This is what RADIO WARS attempts to answer.

RADIO WARS, directed by Sandra Mohr, has been nominated for Best Feature Documentary by the New York City International Film Festival and will screen to audiences in NYC on Saturday, August 11 @ 9pm at the Abingdon Theatre.
