gRPC stubs recording

Hello Wiremock community!

I've tried to record gRPC stubs using Wiremock:  wiremock-jre8-standalone 2.27.2 which should support http/2 (please correct me if it's wrong), but I'm getting the following error on grpc invocation proxied with Wiremock: "codec.http2.Http2Exception: First received frame was not SETTINGS. Hex dump for first 5 bytes: 485454502f"

So my question is if it's possible to record gRPC stubs using proxying through Wiremock?

Unfortunately it's not possible to serve gRPC with WireMock at the moment as it does some unusual (but legal) things with HTTP/2 like pushing out headers after the response body.

I'd really like to be able to add gRPC stubbing, but at this point I'm not even sure Jetty supports the necessary HTTP/2 operations.
