Hi

I am an undergrad student and I am looking for some ideas regarding final year project. I am interested in mimo-ofdm systems and I want to take this to implementation phase as well.

Tell me something that I can do related to this.
Thanks

hi,
go through this links may be you will get some thing ! (and make me
know If you will get something I too will like to help you out with
that infact learn)

http://www.wirelessweek.com/Article-Drucker-4G-Challenges-040109.aspx
http://www.av.it.pt/motion/research_1.htm
http://www.nt.tuwien.ac.at/about-us/staff/josep-colom-ikuno/lte-simulators/
http://www.pimrc2009.org/index.php?pageId=19

combinily these links will give you broad areas, choose one and then
try to gather papers from IEEE (last two years) or try to explore 3gpp
(please make me know if you came across any food for research through
3gpp site, some one from RnD once told me that 3gpp clearly mentioned
research topics )

all the best !

On internet there are hell of things related to mimo ofdm system and they may be of very advanced level. That is why I am asking for help from some expert so that he/she can guide me otherwise it would take me alot of time to get to right place.

Well I have gone through these pages. How about implementing MU-MIMO in which I would assume 2 users and I will be sending them data at the same time and in the same frequency band using spatial multiplexing.

Do tell me about some reference material related to this if you feel this would be a nice project.
Thanking in anticipation

Hi,
Your idea sounds right. I think you should search some papers @ IEEE.
Go through them and you will get a more clear vision. Mean while share
soem papers with me , I am also interested on that because I am really
looking for some thing sensible this time.

All the best.

thanks
