Send URL call to turn on belkin wemo light switch

I have been able to get my HUE bulbs working with URL calling. How do I use the same function for Belkin wemo switch? The URL call is Super fast and the Kumoapps have been slow and unreliable.

KumoApp was indeed not working properly between Aug 1st and Aug 11. We finally made it working reliably with <1second
 delay today please check.

Thanks for the reply, I did notice it was working late last night (still slower than me actually switching the light myself), wasnt sure if it was a fluke or not. I still however would like to handle url calling locally if possible...anyone have knowledge on this?
