Just got my new tags/manager

Set one up this morning and all was fine.

Accidentally logged out of the app this afternoon, and when logging back in lost my tag.

Now getting 'Your Tag Manager is not connected to the Internet'

All green on the manager and telnet works.

Please help me, as there is not a lot of documentation on how to reset everything from scratch, or how to fix problems like this.

Thanks

Dom

It does appear your tag manager is not connected to the Internet. Does a power cycle of the tag manager help?

Thought I'd chime in here.

I've had this happen a few times and it seems it's some conflict between my router and connectivity loss, best thing was power cycling both.

Can confirm using a 4G USB modem didn't cause loss of connectivity on logout and back in.

Thanks guys

I rebooted my router and the manager and it seemed to do the trick!

Having this issue I assume, turning everything off then on does't seem to do the trick. Been running fine for a few years.

Powering on gets red flashing exclamation. Then red up/down arrows. ;(

up/down arrow means the tag manager cannot connect to mytaglist.com at port 80.

Today I had this issue. After rebooting the tag managers nothing, after rebooting the router, bingo. Seemed to fix the problem. So what it going on here?

6:00 pm local time my one tag manager went down again with both up and down arrows lit red. The other tag manager was alright.

Rebooted the router , nothing, re booted the tag manager and it seemed to be alright , till I opened a window and the reed switchdid not send a notification to the app.

So the rearmed all the reed switch and now I seem to be alright.

Any suggestion as to what is going on?

It is currently 1121, and my one tag manager for my home is off-line. It's been two hours off line, says my iOS app

I have to take managers on the same network, I don't understand why one of them is off-line and the other one is not

1:48am tag manager off line for 17 hours, but only one rage manager. Why?

H EventPhotoMan.

I often get one of my managers in the ios app say "off line" while the 2nd manager in my home, on the same internet connection and router is fine. After testing I found out they were false alarms as all the tags worked as normal. do you get any error lights on the tag manager ie.e. orange rather than green?

thanks

Steve,

The tag manager was off-line with two red arrows.
Reboot of the tag manager fixed this, but why?

Why do I have to re-boot the tag manager so often, and the same unit.

sorry to hear that! I have two mangers and never go off line since they updated the firmware a few years back. I did have a faulty Manager but it was replaced and all my issues stopped. try just rebooting your router next time and not the manager and see if that fixes the issue. this would indicate ISP or router. or instead of rebooting just pull out network cable at back of manager and put it back in. I assume you have changed the network cable just in case its faulty.

good luck

Steve

My one rage manager is always going off line.

Usually about 8-10 times a day. Do you have notification set to tell you when it's off line? You would never know unless.

Hi Yes there is an IFTTT trigger that wil lemail you if your tag manger goes off-line. or if yuo got to yuor accounts setting. and expand your manager there are two options i.e. email and push notification if manager goes offline.

Hi EventPhotoMan,

If you have a tag manager that is behaving differently than another in the same environment and is going offline by itself, we can send you a replacement. I could not find your order number by searching eventp...@gmail.com. Could you let me know your order number?

If the tag manager is few years old, it may not have the latest firmware (rev. 7) you can check the version in web interface, setting->account. What is your tag manager revision?

I have just started having the same issue today. Multiple reboots. Rebooted the whole network. Tried different ports. It is getting an IP according to my DHCP list. But I keep getting the Red and Orange arrows Lit after reboot.
