Hi Daiver

I would recommend this product to anyone. i have been using for over 2 years. there are other product that do this! but you will not get the range (distance) that these tags cover. Price is good and you can connect a door tag / PIR to a wemo and trigger it so it turns on a device i.e. radio, siren, speaker etc... I have my setup beep another tag so I now have a portable alarm. i.e. when the front door opens it beep another tag 5 times. I can then move the alarm tag to any room I am in. You can also revice an email and push alert on to your mobile.

good luck with what ever you do.

I'm a very basic user and don't do any coding.

Essentially, I'm looking into this to install on doors to get notified to my cell when they're opened and also to get notified of movement inside the house. I would later like to hook it up to a siren of some sort to use as an alarm system.

Is this something the system does easily?

Given the basic nature of what I need, are there other products that will do this better/easier or are Wireless Sensor Tags the way to go?

nope you will be up working in 5 mins. lots of pre-set kumoapp but you don't even need them for what you are after and there is also IFTTT integration which is simple.

Hey Steve,

Thanks for chiming in.

Indeed, I feel like the capability of these tags is tremendous. I'm just a bit concerned of how much coding is needed to get it to do these basic things.

Do I have to code at all to get it to do these things?

Thanks!
